Description

If you are holidaying around here, there are several sites worth visiting, generally located around the mouths of small rivers. Locations ranging from Andora to the mouth of the river Centa in Albenga attract a lot of birds. The area is definitely worth a visit. Birds you can observe include Hjálmsöngvari, Sefsöngvari, Síkjasöngvari, Háleggur, Hettumáfur, Lónamáfur, Blæsöngvari, Bjarthegri, Kúhegri, Gulfinka. From the bridge in the centre of town, you can spot swifts, ducks, and gulls.

The mouth of the river Centa is located in the town of Albenga. You can park along the street and explore the area on foot. From the footpath that runs parallel to the road, you have a good view of the river Centa and the vegetation. Press P on the map for directions.
