A medium-sized orchard with a large variety of species. Gauktíta and Álmtittlingur breed here. During migration you can expect to see many birds of prey.

Description

Mülimatt Obstgarten is not a very large area, but very rich in species. Sometimes there are up to two Gauktíta singing here. It also has several Garðaskotta breeding pairs and two Hagaskvetta pairs. In addition, Álmtittlingur, Þyrnisöngvari and Vallskvetta can be observed regularly. The migration of birds of prey is quite strong in both spring and autumn, and Býþjór and Kolstorkur sometimes pass through here. Laufglói can be heard singing in the nearby forest.

Walk from the village of Biel Benken, the area is easily accessible on foot. You can take bus line 60 to Biel Benken.
