Description
Caswell Bay is a coastal area on the south east of the Gower Peninsula. You can walk along the coast and cliffs. The Bishop's Wood nature reserve sits behind the bay, a rare example of a limestone woodland. You can see many different birds in and around the bay. In the skies look out for the rare Bjargkorpungur. Other relatively rare birds are Förufálki and Hrafn, and you may also see (or hear) Grænspæta, Sönglævirki, Músvákur, Þistilfinka, Dómpápi and Hagaskvetta. Other birds you can encounter are Urtönd, Gaukur, Múrsvölungur and Tjaldur.
