Thanks to its size and rural location Kessingland Beach rarely feels crowded, even during the sunniest summer days, unlike beaches further up the coast at Lowestoft. The beautiful beach has protected nesting Dvergþerna. Lovely beach walk for Bakkasvala. Large lagoon for wading birds with sand pipers. Reed beds for warblers and Sefþvari and woodland for Gaukur. A superb half or full day bird watching with a full variety must not be missed at the right time of year. Other birds that can be seen here are Rita, Sandlóa,schol Tjaldur, Fjallalævirki and Sönglævirki.
