Description
On the island of Tiree 133 bird species have been seen. The freshwater Loch a'Phuill attracts waders such as Sótstelkur, Fjalllóa, Lyngstelkur and Lindastelkur. In the dunes there may be Sportittlingur, Snjótittlingur, Engirella, Brandugla or Engisöngvari. The cliffs at Ceann a Mhara are a useful seawatch point in autumn and have breeding Langvía, Álka, Fýll, Rita, Toppskarfur and perhaps Förufálki or Bjargkorpungur.

Access
Tiree is reached by ferry from the mainland, or by air from Glasgow. The loch and cliffs are accessed from Barrapol or Balephuil in the island's SW corner.
