Description
When Walmore Common floods it is a sheltered spot for Álft, Dvergsvanur, dabbling ducks, Vepja, Heiðlóa, Fjöruspói, Lóuþræll, Hrossagaukur and Dvergsnípa. There are Kattugla, Náttugla and Turnugla in the area all year round. Sylvia and leaf warbers breed. Vallskvetta and Gulerla pass on migration. The Severn bore tidal wave can be viewed from the pub nearby.

Access
Located north of the A48 Chepstow to Gloucester road which is a regular bus route. Park near Chaxhill primary school and follow footpath nearby to view. Further access from Lower Ley. Park at T-junction shown and walk west for 3/4 mile.
