Descrizione
This interesting lightly birded site can occasionally hold large flocks of Banded Stilt and hosts small numbers of various trans-equatorial migratory shorebirds over summer.
As well, the usual suite of SW bushbirds can be found in the woodland and bushes backing the site. White-fronted Chat can often be seen or heard on the spit shrubbery.

Accesso
From Myalup, head north on Lake Preston Road for 7 kms to reach a small signed parking area on the RHS.
From here walk east to pass a small lake on the left. At the end of the short track birders will need to pass through bushland (no tracks) generally heading NNE to gain the base of the spit. Please note that the 'route' shown on the map is indicative only and it's a good idea to carry a compass. Once on the spit, walking is easy and open.
