Ballastière de Bischheim is a former gravel and sand extraction site that is transformed into a natural reserve and recreational area. In winter, it is easy to observe many Moretta and Moriglione. There are also many Gabbiano comune and Gabbiano reale. In summer, there are only Cigno reale, Folaga and Svasso maggiore and a few Tuffetto.

Ballastière de Bischheim is a former gravel and sand extraction site located in Bischheim near Strasbourg. It's quite far from the tram stop, so it's better to take the car or a bicycle. There's a large parking lot. Press P on the map for directions to the parking lot. The circular walk around the lake is approximately 2 km.
