Accesso

Pirang Forest (sometimes called Pirang-Bonto National Forest) is located near the village of Pirang, about 45 km from Banjul. Drive east from Banjul or Serrekunda towards Brikama. At the location you can be guided by Kawsu Gibba or one of his staff, they know how to find the rarest birds in the forest. There is a small entrance fee (about 100 Gambian Dalasi, which is about € 1.30). There are trails crisscrossing the forest and some waterholes.
