Descrizione
Eagle Gorge is an easily accessible gorge from Dedoplistsqaro. Grifone, Cicogna nera and Falco pellegrino breed on the cliffs and can easily be seen from specific watchpoints along the routes. On warm days, Biancone and Aquila minore make regular appearances. In the forest down in the valley Rigogolo and Luì nitido can be heard in spring and summer.
The cliff walls are home to Picchio muratore di roccia, Passero solitario and Rondine montana. Near the parking lot Zigolo capinero, Ortolano and Bigia padovana are heard singing or can be seen on migration. In autumn, Damigella della Numidia are sometimes seen migrating past the highest tops. Further along the path there is a breeding facility for wild Fagiano comune , so a true wild bird of this species has to be encountered somewhere else.
