Descrizione
The Havelländisches Luch consists of a mosaic of moist grasslands. These are interspersed with wasteland and hedgerows. An area of 200 hectares is inundated in winter and spring. The Havelländisches Luch is a good place to observe the Brandenburg population of the Otarda. The area is one of three areas in Germany where the Otarda occurs. The reserve itself is off limits, but you can oversee the area from two observation towers.
