Peat was once extracted in De Oude Zoek. Now, the farmland is situated between two wooded nature reserves. Unobstructed views of open fields interspersed with wooded areas. Birds you might encounter in the area include: Pispola, Allodola, Gheppio, Poiana, Codibugnolo, Saltimpalo and Cesena.

Nederlands: In De Oude Zoek werd vroeger turf gewonnen. Nu is het landbouwgebied tussen 2 bosrijke natuurgebieden in. Vrij uitzicht op de open velden afgewisseld met bosrijk gebied. Vogels die je in het gebied kunt tegenkomen zijn onder meer Pispola, Allodola, Gheppio, Poiana, Codibugnolo, Saltimpalo en Cesena.

The Oude Zoek is located southeast of the city of Roosendaal, near the village of Schijf, close to the Belgian border. Press the P on the map for directions to a parking area. It's an excellent area to explore by bike, but a circular walk is also possible. The route shown on the map is approximately 9 km.

Nederlands: De Oude Zoek ligt ten zuidoosten van Roosendaal, bij het dorp Schijf, vlakbij de Belgische grens. Druk op een P in de kaart voor een routebeschrijving naar een parkeerplaats.
