Lake Zürich (Zürichsee) is a big lake extending southeast of the city of Zürich. There are many points along the banks of the lake to check out the birdlife. Like this point in Horgen. Especially in winter more waterfowl can be seen on the lake, including Svasso collorosso and Gabbiano reale. Common birds to see are Cigno reale, Svasso maggiore, Airone cenerino, Gabbiano comune and several species of ducks. Fistione turco is breeding and wintering on the lake.
