You can drive around Lake Ladik easily. It is a nice place to do birding because there are forests, gardens, meadows, a lake, mud flats, reed beds, etc. During spring migration, you can see thousands of Rondine and Topino on the lake site. Pellicano comune can be seen there, too. Moretta tabaccata is another species highlighted here. Picchio verde and Airone guardabuoi can be seen around the lake. Aquila di mare and Cormorano, which also can be observed, are typical birds in such wetlands in Turkey.

You can go explore the Lake Ladik area by car. It is close to the main roads. There is one main road passing through from southern part of the lake. It is possibe to drive around the lake site by village roads. Zoom in on the map and click on a P in the map for directions or coordinates.
