On the slopes of Pigeon Valley you can see species such as Picchio muratore di roccia , Zigolo muciatto and Zigolo capinero. Further down the valley comes a stretch of woods and a dry riverbed where you can see and hear Usignolo, Ghiandaia and more. Keep an eye on the sky for Rondone maggiore and raptors such as Poiana codabianca and Gheppio.

You can park at the main street of Uçhisar that goes along the valley. From the touristic viewpoints and cafés, there are several small paths down into the valley. Area is only accessible on foot. Good walking shoes are highly recommended.
