Around the Yedikır Dam, there is a plain where the wintering Gufo di palude population occurs. Also, the wintering Oca lombardella flocks occur around the dam. Beside, the Damigella della Numidia breeds close to the dam which is the modern breeding couple of the species in Turkey. Occhione can be seen in the northern part of the lake in the flat dusty areas. You can see Corriere piccolo, Aquila di mare, Quaglia, Moretta tabaccata, Moriglione and many more. Also, this area always has a possibility to see rare species there such as Oca facciabianca which is the second record for Turkey. Gufo reale can be seen there which would be an uncommon record of the species. Therefore, it is obvious that you should go to the dam area to do birdwatching if you can.
