Descrizione
Blakeney Point is a National Nature Reserve and AONB. Thriving nesting site for Sterna comune, Sterna codalunga, Beccapesci and Fraticello. Also Gabbiano comune and occasional Gabbiano corallino. Common and grey seals breed. Winter wildfowl such as Edredone, Orchetto marino and Oca zamperosee. And rare passage autumn migrants such as Averla maggiore, Calandro maggiore, Luì forestiero and Bigia padovana. Forapaglie comune and Cannaiola in the reed beds.

Parking at Cley for those attempting the long difficult walk on shifting shingle to the point. NB the Visitor Centre is currently closed. Park at Morton Quay or Blakeney Quay for boat trips. Check tide times as the car park can get flooded, also boats only run 4 hours either side of high tide. See the link to the tides table below.
