Descrizione
Blashford Lakes is a good place for birdwatching, as it has a large amount of bird species there. Blashford Lakes is a great place for observing overwintering birds such as Tarabuso, Basettino and Airone bianco maggiore . The more regular species of this reserve include, a breeding colony of Topino, breeding Martin pescatore and Svasso maggiore. On the lakes you can also spot wintering wildfowl such as Quattrocchi and Smergo maggiore.

Blasford Lakes is between Poulner and Verwood ( which are both small towns ), and is easily accessed from both of these locations. If you go to Blashford the carpark for the reserve is in the education centre on the southside of Ellingham road.
