Descrizione
The brickworks only closed in the 1980’s and since then the buildings were cleared with just concrete foundations and a brick wharf giving any hint to the history of this site. Usignolo and Tortora selvatica can be heard, and a colony of Gabbiano corallino are usually found nesting offshore on Fowley Island. Among the other birds you can encounter in the area are Bigiarella, Oca colombaccio, Volpoca, Cuculo, Smergo minore, Avocetta, Beccaccia di mare, Pivieressa, Pavoncella, Chiurlo maggiore, Piovanello pancianera and Pittima reale.
