Descrizione
The area around Errwood Reservoir is a good site for many upland woodland species such as Balia nera, Codirosso, Prispolone and Pigliamosche and the best time to visit is in spring when the birds are in song. Luì verde is also present some years. Piro piro piccolo, Corriere piccolo and Anatra mandarina can be found around the southern end of the reservoir itself and Pernice bianca nordica and Chiurlo maggiore are common on the surrounding moors. Merlo acquaiolo and Ballerina gialla inhabit the stream to the south of the reservoir and several species of raptor can often be seen in flight over the valley.
