Gronant has 200 pairs of breeding Fraticello and some Beccapesci and Sterna comune. Several wader species, Gheppio, Barbagianni, Orchetto marino, Allodola and Fanello. On the 4 ha Big Pool reserve there are Migliarino di palude, Cannaiola, Rampichino alpestre, Ballerina gialla, Pigliamosche, Lucherino and Porciglione. Sand lizards, natterjack toads, pyramid orchids, sea holly, sea purslane and other wildflowers can be found in the dunes.
