Descrizione
At Gunthorpe Gravel Pits 120+ species of bird have been seen, including Pesciaiola, Smergo maggiore and Smergo minore in winter, when Pavoncella, Mestolone and teal can be numerous on flooded fields. Spring brings Cannaiola, Forapaglie comune, Forapaglie macchiettato to breed, and Mignattino comune, Culbianco and Stiaccino on migration. In summer, Lodolaio hunt swallows over the ponds.
