From the Moretta grigia to the snowy white Gabbiano islandico, the birds that can turn up at Hollowell Reservoir provide hours of birding. Other bird species you might spot include Falaropo beccolargo, Piovanello pancianera, Corriere grosso as well as Cutrettola, Culbianco, Saltimpalo and Spioncello marino. And, if you are lucky, you may even spot Falco pescatore and Lodolaio that regularly pay a visit. Note: Access to Hollowell Reservoir Nature Reserve is available for permit holders only (see more info below).
