Descrizione
The area has a mixture of habitats including more open areas of grassland, a good selection of trees, most of which are best described as being young, including Ash (Fraxinus), Oak (Quercus), Alder (Alnus), Hazel (Corylus), Cherry (Prunus) and Sycamore (Acer) and boundary hedges.
Most birds are of more common species, Cuculo and Forapaglie macchiettato are sometimes seen but more regularly heard and are more than likely to be just passage migrants. Both Luì piccolo and Capinera are regular summer visitors and some may overwinter. Luì grosso are summer visitors and Rondine can be seen feeding over the open grass areas.
