Livermere Lake is a stocked fishing and shooting lake 6 miles north of Bury St Edmunds. The lake is mud-fringed, open and productive for waders, gulls, ducks, etc. Among the birds you can expect are Volpoca, Mestolone, Moriglione, Moretta, Tuffetto, Beccaccia di mare, Pavoncella, Pettegola, Nibbio reale, Allodola, Migliarino di palude, Sterpazzola, Bigiarella, Zafferano, Mugnaiaccio and Pernice rossa.
