The area around Llanarmon DC is predominantly consisting of managed upland moor and shooting estate with sheep farming. Wonderful landscape with peace and solitude in abundance. Great for seeing Nibbio reale and occasional sightings of Albanella reale and Lodolaio. In early summer you can observe Cuculo ( usually heard rather than seen) and some Chiurlo maggiore pairs on the tops. Merlo acquaiolo along the local streams. Pigliamosche nests locally.
