Descrizione
RSPB Point of Ayr is a nature reserve on a remote part of the Dee Estuary reserve located on the northern-most tip of Wales. It has a mix of reedbed, beach, lagoon, tidal mudflats, dunes and saltmarsh, adjoining a caravan park and industrial area. Open 10am to 5pm daily. The site has a hide but no visitor centre. Among the birds you can encounter are Fraticello, Corriere grosso, Avocetta, Falco di palude, Airone bianco maggiore, Garzetta, Chiurlo maggiore, Porciglione, Cannaiola, Forapaglie comune, Usignolo di fiume, Gheppio, Totano moro, Oca colombaccio, Piro piro piccolo, Piro piro culbianco and Tarabuso.

The northernmost point in mainland Wales. From Chester, head northwest on A548 for 24 miles then turn right on minor road through Talacre. Car park is at the very end of Station Road.
