Descrizione
Schiehallion is a prominent cone-shaped mountain in the Breadalbane region of the Scottish Highlands. It rises to 1,083 metres. Schiehallion has all the typical Scottish upland birds: Pispola, Culbianco, Allodola, Gufo di palude, Albanella reale, Aquila reale, Gheppio, Smeriglio, Falco pellegrino, Nibbio reale, Cornacchia grigia, Corvo imperiale, Pernice bianca nordica, Fagiano di monte and Merlo dal collare. Zigolo delle nevi and Pernice bianca nordica above 2,000ft/900m. Apparently, no Piviere tortolino.

Car park at Braes of Foss. 10 miles north of Aberfeldy on B846, then left on minor road. Walk to summit is 2.8 miles (4.5 km) each way. Prepare for the high ground: wear stout boots, warm waterproof clothing, check weather forecast, carry food, water, charged mobile phone.
