Sumburgh Head is located at the southern tip of mainland Shetland and is one of the most accessible seabird colonies in Britain. The cliffs surrounding the site are teeming with birds during the summer breeding season. Pulcinella di mare, Gazza marina, Uria, Gabbiano tridattilo and Fulmaro can all be found here. Beccaccia di mare, Scricciolo and Fanello nordico are also commonly seen.
