Descrizione
Sutton Bank has some excellent birding around it, including being one of Britain's northernmost locations to see Tortora selvatica. The bird feeders around the visitor centre buildings often attract this, as well as Tortora dal collare, Zigolo giallo and tits including Cincia bigia. The surrounding open woodlands and scrub hold Prispolone and several warblers.
Best visited in the early morning or late afternoon, when there are fewer people around, but the birds are mostly used to human presence and some can be seen at the feeders all day even when the site is crowded.
