Descrizione
The Meadows is a recreation ground sandwiched between the River Tavy in the South and the Tavistock Canal on it's Nothern edge. Whilst most birds are of commoner species, Merlo acquaiolo, Ballerina gialla and Gallinella d'acqua and Germano reale can often be found on both river or canal. During harsh Winters especially with freezing conditions on nearby Dartmoor Pispola and even Poiana sometimes seek shelter near the park, both Tordo sassello and Cesena are annual winter visitors depending on temperature. During Summer the odd Cutrettola turns up occasionally.
