Descrizione
The cliffs themselves and the surrounding chalk grasslands make a unique habitat found in few other places, while the proximity to the continent makes it a popular resting spot for rarities from across the channel. Nesting birds can include Falco pellegrino, Corvo imperiale, Fulmaro and even Gabbiano tridattilo. Divers and auks can be seen off the coast in winter, and it is not unusual for rarities to appear: Torcicollo, Luì di Pallas, Merlo dal collare and the occasional shrike.
