From late spring to mid summer Erskine Lakes functions as a breeding heronry for Eastern Cattle-Egret, Little Egret and Great Egret.

As well, the site is good all year for many of the metro's common waterfowl and bushbirds.

Access

From Mandurah, head about six kms west along Mandurah Road/Old Coast Road, turn left on to Sticks Boulevard and then left on to Abbotswood Pway to the end circle.

Unfortunately the only parking is along residential streeting. Press P on the map to access Google mapping.
