Description
Gochsen is a small village in Baden-Württemberg, bisected by the Kocher River. The weir offers a perfect view of the river, where you can observe сива чапја, Дива патка and голем северен нуркач. Small reedbeds also adjoin the weir, where you can often find планинска тресиопашка, other songbirds, and, with a bit of luck, a рибарче. Right next to the weir is a штрк nest, where breeding takes place between April and August.

Access
Gochsener Weir is best reached on foot or by bicycle. Crossing the weir is only possible on foot, and care should be taken due to slippery moss. Parking is available in a small clearing by the meadow a few meters further on, which you must cross to reach the weir.
