Description
The proximity to the Ulcinj salina and exit to the Adriatic sea makes the island Ada Bojana a great migration route for birds. Large flocks of патка крецка, патка лажичарка, патка свиркач, мал галеб, медитерански галеб fly over the island on migration. It is wintering site for great numbers of мал морски нуркач and тенкоклуна чигра, but белец, Голем завој (diomedea) and белокрила црнка too. During breeding season ибис and чапја лажичарка feed in the marshes.

Access
Ada Bojana can be accessed by car, but if you want to visit whole beach and other parts of island you need to go by foot. Click on a P in the map for directions to a parking spot.
