Al Qudra Desert

Dubai  >  United Arab Emirates

Remarkable area offering a variety of species throughout the year. Summer months are brutal. To fully explore the area you will need a 4x4 and a guide.

Description

The Al Qudra Desert is a stunning desert area known for its man-made lakes, wildlife, and scenic beauty. Great area to find desert species like Cream-coloured Courser, Black-crowned Sparrow-Lark and Desert Wheatear. The lakes are home to many other bird species, including розев фламинго, ибис, Egyptian Goose, патка лажичарка and many other birds.

Access

Al Qudra Desert is located about 30–40 minutes from the heart of Dubai. The area can be explored with a regular car, however to get the target species list you might have, I recommend a guide with a 4x4.
