Stone Point offers a good vantage point over the River Colne with species such as среден северен нуркач flying in and out of the Estuary. The saltmarsh and beach are good places to watch Brent Goose, бел свиркач, Red Knot, обичен свиркач, среден пескар, црвенонога тринга, сабјарка, голем српоклун свиркач, сиво блатарче, црноопашна блатарка and Bar-tailed Godwit at close range during the winter. The area can be busy with visitors so early or late visits can be productive.
