The Marais de Vaux is a wetland area covering about 132 hectares. A boardwalk runs through the area. Adjacent to the wetland is the lake of Etang des Lésines. You can make a circular route of 5 km around the lake and wetland. Birds you can observe include Bosrietzanger, Grauwe Klauwier, Buizerd, Slangenarend, Grasmus, Zwarte Wouw, Rode Wouw, and Roodborsttapuit.

Marais de Vaux is located southwest of Hauteville-Lompnes. There is a car park on the Route des Lésines, next to the hamlet of Les Lésines. Press P on the map for directions. From the car park you can start a 5 km walking loop. The route consists of grassy paths with bushes, wooden boardwalks in the marsh section, and a path through the undergrowth of the forest on the west side of the lake.

Français: Situé au sud-ouest de Hauteville-Lompnes (01), existe un parking automobile route des Lésines, à côté du lieu dit Les Lésines, départ de la boucle pédestre de quelques km. Le cheminement est constitué de chemin enherbé avec buissons, de pontons en bois pour la partie marais et de chemin en sous bois forestier côté ouest du plan d'eau.
