Pointe de Roche Torin is a natural viewpoint that offers panoramic views over the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel. The site is interesting both during migration and in winter. The meadows and mudflats teem with birds. A calm and ideal environment for birding thanks to its paths and open spaces offering good visibility. It is an observation point allowing you to watch birds over a part of the bay that is either entirely mudflats or crisscrossed by waterways, depending on the tides. This wetland provides a suitable habitat for Bergeend, Aalscholver, Kokmeeuw, Stormmeeuw and Kleine Zilverreiger. The meadows and bushes are teeming with passerines like Kneu, Veldleeuwerik, Graspieper, Witte Kwikstaart, Roodborsttapuit and Tapuit. The mudflats attract many Wulp, Kievit and Lepelaar. You have also a chance to spot Visarend and Torenvalk. In winter Rotgans also pass through this place, as do Pijlstaart and Wintertaling.

Milieu calme et propice à l'observation par ses chemins et ses espaces ouverts offrant une bonne visibilité. C'est un point d'observation permettant d'observer les oiseaux sur une partie de la baie qui est soit entièrement faite de vasières, soit parcourue de cours d'eau, en fonction des marées. Cette zone humide fournit un habitat propice aux Bergeend, au Aalscholver, à la Kokmeeuw, au Stormmeeuw ou encore aux Kleine Zilverreiger. Les prairies et les buissons regorgent de passereux : Kneu, Veldleeuwerik, Graspieper, Witte Kwikstaart, Roodborsttapuit et même le Tapuit. Les vasières attirent de nombreux Wulp, Kievit et Lepelaar. Les petits mammifères présents peuvent également attirer des Visarend et des Torenvalk. Des Rotgans passent également par cet endroit en hiver, tout comme des Pijlstaart et des Wintertaling.

Pointe de Roche Torin is located near the villages of Courtils and Bas Courtils on the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel. This observation point is accessible via a road that is initially paved, with a few possible places to park on the side of the road, often still available as the roads are not very busy. Press P on the map for directions. The route shown on the map is 1,6 km one way.
