Beschrijving
Eagle Gorge is an easily accessible gorge from Dedoplistsqaro. Vale Gier, Zwarte Ooievaar and Slechtvalk breed on the cliffs and can easily be seen from specific watchpoints along the routes. On warm days, Slangenarend and Dwergarend make regular appearances. In the forest down in the valley Wielewaal and Groene Fitis can be heard in spring and summer.
The cliff walls are home to Rotsklever, Blauwe Rotslijster and Rotszwaluw. Near the parking lot Zwartkopgors, Ortolaan and Sperwergrasmus are heard singing or can be seen on migration. In autumn, Jufferkraanvogel are sometimes seen migrating past the highest tops. Further along the path there is a breeding facility for wild Fazant , so a true wild bird of this species has to be encountered somewhere else.
