The Ticinello Agricultural Park, with its 88 hectares, is the fourth largest of Milan's parks. Its uniqueness lies in its agricultural character. It is a nice area for birdwatching close to the city. The trees, wet areas and meadows are home to numerous species of birds including Groene Specht, Koolmees, Pimpelmees, Glanskop, Huismus, Ringmus, Tjiftjaf, Bijeneter, Zwartkop, Boerenzwaluw, Steenuil, Blauwe Reiger, Koereiger, Waterhoen, Sperwer, Torenvalk, Boomvalk, Grote Bonte Specht, Kleine Zilverreiger, Staartmees, Goudhaan and also Halsbandparkiet.
