Garos is a small village located in the Val d'Aran, a mountainous region in the Catalan Pyrenees. The village is surrounded by fields of crops and riparian forest along the river Garona. The village is worth a stop because of the many Rotszwaluw that make there nests in the church tower. But in the surroundings many other birds can be spotted and often you can see vultures and raptors flying over. Along the river you can find Waterspreeuw.

El pueblo está rodeado de campos de cultivo y bosque de ribera junto al río Garona. En los alrededores se pueden observar muchas otras aves y a menudo se ven buitres y otras aves rapaces en vuelo. Garos is located in the Catalan Pyrenees, 5 km east of the town of Vielha. You can park in the village of Garos. Press P on the map for directions. From the parking it is a short walk to the church with the bell tower.
