Riberas del Guadaíra is a protected natural area located in the municipality of Alcalá de Guadaíra. It encompasses both banks of the Guadaíra River as it flows through the town and the Oromana pine forest. Throughout the year, many bird species visit the park and can be observed along its course. Some of these are: Blauwe Reiger, IJsvogel, Grote Gele Kwikstaart, Grote Bonte Specht, Buidelmees, Roodborst, Iberische Groene Specht, Aalscholver, Pimpelmees. Along the edges of this enclosure, you can find drier, flatter areas with a greater abundance of shrubs, where other species can be spotted: Bijeneter, Roodkopklauwier, Rode Patrijs, Torenvalk.
The park's surroundings are so vast that they allow for all kinds of routes through different ecosystems, offering the chance to see many species along the way.

Español: Monumento natural de unas 120 hectáreas con espacios de ribera y pinares. Fácil acceso a pie, y extenso parking para vehículos en la entrada. El monumento natural Riberas del Guadaira es un espacio natural protegido situado en el municipio de Alcalá de Guadaíra, que comprende ambas márgenes del río Guadaíra a su paso por la localidad y el pinar de Oromana. A lo largo del año muchas especies de ave visitan el parque y pueden ser observadas a lo largo de su recorrido. Algunas de estas son: Blauwe Reiger, IJsvogel, Grote Gele Kwikstaart, Grote Bonte Specht, Buidelmees, Roodborst, Iberische Groene Specht, Aalscholver, Pimpelmees. A los bordes de este recinto se pueden encontrar unas áreas más secas, llanas y con mayor abundancia de arbustos, donde se pueden avistar otros tipos de especies: Bijeneter, Roodkopklauwier, Rode Patrijs, Torenvalk.
El entorno del parque es tan amplio que da lugar a realizar todo tipo de rutas pasando por distintos tipos de ecosistemas, viendo muchas especies por el camino.

Riberas del Guadaíra can be reached on foot, by public transport, or by private vehicle (car, motorcycle, bicycle, etc.). Access will be easier depending on the type of area you wish to visit. If you want to visit the pine forests and the riverside area, there are several access points. The main one is through the entrance to the municipal sports center (1). There is a large outdoor parking area, and it is easily accessible on foot. Press P on the map for directions. Other access points include the Dragon Bridge (2) or the San Francisco apartments (3). There is a bus stop at this location, served by lines M-104, M-123, M-123b, and M-221.
Access to the meadow areas is not as straightforward. I recommend parking your car in the parking lot next to the children's playground in the pine forest (4) and walking or cycling south (5).

Español: Se puede llegar al recinto a pie, en transporte público o en vehículo privado (coche, moto, bici...). El acceso será más sencillo dependiendo del tipo de zona que se quiera visitar. Si se quieren visitar los pinares y la zona de ribera existen varios accesos. El principal es a través de la entrada al polideportivo municipal (1). Hay un parking exterior amplio y se puede acceder bien a pie. Otros accesos incluyen el Puente del Dragón (2) o los pisos de San Francisco (3). En este último lugar existe una parada de autobús, donde paran las líneas M-104, M-123, M-123b y M-221
Por otro lado, el acceso a las zonas de pradera no es tan flexible. Recomiendo aparcar un vehículo privado en un parking junto al parque infantil del pinar (4) e ir andando o en bici en dirección sur (5).
