The mouth of the Riera de Ribes stream can be found at the end of the seafront in Sitges. The most interesting ornithological aspect of the site are the seabirds, with interesting species like Audouins Meeuw, Zwartkopmeeuw, Grote Stern, Kuifaalscholver, and Jan-van-gent. Some rarer species that can be seen are the Kuhls Pijlstormvogel, Yelkouanpijlstormvogel and Vale Pijlstormvogel. In winter Middelste Zaagbek has been seen several years.
In the reeds Cetti's Zanger, Kleine Karekiet, Sint-Helenafazantje, Rietgors, and Kleine Zwartkop can be heard and seen. Aquatic species like Wilde Eend, Kleine Zilverreiger, Koereiger, Blauwe Reiger and IJsvogel are present in the water course.
Close to the mouth of Riera de Ribes is the Golf Club Terramar, and the greens are good to look for birds like Roodborsttapuit, Graspieper, Zwarte Roodstaart, and Hop.
