The village of Cimikoy is located between high alpine meadows in the Taurus Mountains. The area is filled with flowers and countless butterfies, the odd snake or 3, and many birds. Just a fabulous area. Among the birds you can encounter here are. Roodvoorhoofdkanarie, Oostelijke Orpheusgrasmus, Sneeuwvink, Finsch' Tapuit, Griekse Spotvogel, Steenarend, Alpenkauw, Perzische Roodborst, Strandleeuwerik (𝙀.𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙖), Daurische Klauwier, Roze Spreeuw, Grijze Gors, Ortolaan, Bruinkeelortolaan and Rode Bergvink.

Get to the village of Akseki, (about 1 hour of driving, 70 km) from the coastal road) and find the cemetery. Follow the road out of the village and head for Cimikoy. A 14 km track then leads eventually to majestic high plain plateau.
