Eren Mountain is located an hour away from the town of Fethiye and the top is 2860 meters high. There are many different mountain trails to explore the slopes or you can choose the easy option and drive the Göğübeli Geç mountain pass and make stops along the way, but you don't get as high up the mountain. Either way you will see many interesting birds. Among the birds you could see are Roodvoorhoofdkanarie, Perzische Roodborst, Blauwe Rotslijster, Zwarte Ooievaar, Bruinkeelortolaan, Oostelijke Orpheusgrasmus, Arendbuizerd and Slangenarend.

The Göğübeli Geç mountain pass links the small town of Seki to the town of Elmalı. See the route on the map below. Seki is a winter resort only a little more than an hour drive from Fethiye. Along the pass you can make stops to watch birds. You can also hike up the Eren Dag mountain by foot, there are many different trails. See the link below for a route of one of these trails.
