You can drive around Lake Ladik easily. It is a nice place to do birding because there are forests, gardens, meadows, a lake, mud flats, reed beds, etc. During spring migration, you can see thousands of Boerenzwaluw and Oeverzwaluw on the lake site. Roze Pelikaan can be seen there, too. Witoogeend is another species highlighted here. Groene Specht and Koereiger can be seen around the lake. Zeearend and Aalscholver, which also can be observed, are typical birds in such wetlands in Turkey.

You can go explore the Lake Ladik area by car. It is close to the main roads. There is one main road passing through from southern part of the lake. It is possibe to drive around the lake site by village roads. Zoom in on the map and click on a P in the map for directions or coordinates.
