Beschrijving
The Berryhill Fields are basically a grassland habitat with areas of scrub (mainly goat willow, silver birch and rowan) and remnants of old hedgerow of hawthorn, blackthorn and holly. The diverse plant life with its associated invertebrates and small mammals provide food for many birds. Five species of warbler, including the uncommon Sprinkhaanzanger, breed alongside threatened farmland species such as Patrijs, Watersnip and Veldleeuwerik. The area gives also good opportunities to see Tapuit and sometimes Velduil.
