Drift Reservoir has wildfowl, gulls and waders in autumn and winter including Topper, Brilduiker, Bonte Strandloper, Bokje, Wulp, Regenwulp, Kleine Kokmeeuw and Lachmeeuw. Visarend regular in autumn, usual array of nesting passerines, reedbed species, IJsvogel and Dodaars. Note: Beyond the car park, picnic site and dam, access is limited to Cornwall Birds members (see more details below).

Take A30 from Penzance, go right in Drift village, parking by the dam. Click on the P in the map to get directions. The circular route indicated on the map is about 3,8 km long.
