Prees Heath Common is located just south of Whitchurch in north Shropshire, between the A41 and A49 roads. The entire site is open access, so visitors can walk wherever they wish, however paths have been established through regular walking along the edges and up the middle. It is best to stick to these especially in breeding season to protect the ground nesting birds.
There is a small car park indicated on the map, but alternative pay-and-display parking is available at the truckstop just north of the reserve. The fish and chips shop there is also good, achieved a 5 star food hygeine rating in 2022, and has toilets. Press a P on the map for directions to a car park.
